About Blue-Ice Music

2 DJ's, Dave Sienna & Secuna met eachother in the first classes of highschool. After a while they discovered their musical taste was almost the same, and while enjoying their favourite music they became close friends. When they found out that both started dj'ing on an early age, they thought the next logical step would be to combine forces under the "Blue-Ice Music" guise.

Blue-Ice Music's DJ's Secuna & Dave Sienna have both been residents on ETN.fm with their shows: "Sunday Soundscapes" and "Blue-Ice Music"

Dave Sienna :

Dave Sienna Aka Yvory Schmidt, born in the middle of Holland, fell in love with dance music at a early age, growing up with lots of different music, he developed a taste with lots of variety within dance music. At an age of 11 he spun his first records, of course all within the dancescene. As a natural thing he started to listen to trance in 1998, and after a long break, picked up dj’ing again.

Around 2001 he started to prefer a somewhat deeper style, something that is still very noticeable until this day. Being Influenced by a lot of different music in his life, you won’t find him sticking to any specific genre, his music varies from deep breaks to trance, and everything that’s in between.

Always being dedicated to his work, and with a real passion for music, don’t be surprised that this is someone to keep an eye on.

Secuna :

A young and promising dj, that's how Secuna is described by many. Secuna or Lesley Barnier in real life, always thought of music as one of the most important things in his life. Of course he listened to and recorded dance music from local radio, and wasted boxes of tapes with it.

Inspired by this music, he quickly realised he wanted to play out this music to show his friends and other people that there's more then just the commercial dance played on your average radio station. Feeling a true passion for vinyl, he quickly mastered the dj skills, and started to show people just how much he enjoyed music. His style ranges from deep progressive breaks to funky deep house, with his main passion being the progressive house sound from the likes of Thomas Penton, Clubbervision, Arthur Deep and Michael & Levan. Of course Secuna is open to other music as well, so don't be surprised to hear different tracks mixed together, forming solid mixes from ambient, breaks and even tribal house!
